Healthy habits don't just improve your physical wellbeing; they also enhance your quality of life. For example, whenyou get enough sleep, you aren't just giving your body a chance to re-energize; you also wake up feeling refreshed and optimistic.

Even though we all know good health isimportant, sometimes maintaining a healthy lifestyle can feel like a drag. Thesecret to success is to make small changes over an extended period oftime.

Trying to overhaul all of your habits when you're busy juggling everyday life issetting yourself up for failure. Read on for some pointers on how you canenhance your health.

Revamp your oral health routine.

This is a tooth-to-toe guide to wellness, literally. Your dental health impacts your overall well-being enormously. Periodontal disease is linked to a greater risk of cardiovascular disease. Poor dental health is even associated with a number of mental illnesses.

Protect your body and mind by committing to regular oral hygiene, including brushing twice a day and flossing every night. Seeing a dental hygienist for professional teeth cleaning is a great first step. Once your teeth are professionally polished, you'll be more motivated to keep them shining.

Find a fitness routine you love

Regular physical activity promotes muscle tone, builds cardiovascular strength, and decreases your risk of anxiety and depression. If you hate working out, however, finding the motivation to do so can be tough. Look for alternative workout options, like climbing, boxing, dancing, and hula-hooping.

Motivate yourself by tracking your progress as you extend and improve your workout times. You can use a smartwatch which can monitor your heart rate and blood oxygen levels. Alternatively, gadgets like a pedometer can help keep you moving.

Look for ways to make healthy eating easier.

A healthy diet consists of a mix of wholegrains, lean proteins, fresh fruits and vegetables, and dairy. It's best to eatfresh and avoid processed foods, which have added fats and sugars with nonutritional value.

However, cooking a healthy meal can be difficult after a full day of work, school, and family obligations. Prioritize easy recipes that you can store and eat again later, like burrito bowls and chili. Alternatively, consider a mealkit delivery service like HelloFresh. You get the ingredients and recipe you need to be delivered at your door.

Make social interaction a priority.

Getting healthy doesn't have to be tedious! Socializing is important to your health and should be incorporated into your feel-good agenda. People with an active social life are less likely to catch colds, for example, while socializing is also shown to help fight off depression and insomnia.

Even if you can't see other people in person (for example, due to COVID-19 restrictions) find ways to connect. Videocalls are one great option.

Create a comfortable nest to come home to

When you're returning home from a social engagement or a sweaty gym session, you want a comfy nest to return to. To kickoff, your wellness journey, cleanse your space. Clean your home from top to bottom and open the windows to let in fresh air and sunshine.

Finally, if you want to eliminate negative energy from the home, smudge the rooms with a sage stick. This will give you a clean slate for starting your new habits.

Hopefully, this starter guide to head-to-toe health strategies has given you some inspiration for improving your everyday habits. When you take small steps, you can truly overhaul your life.

You were very easy to deal with. Pleasant manner, tone of voice and easy to speak to.  You kind of have the voice and demeanor that make people "want" to talk with you. Once people know your story, they want to talk to you more, perhaps to grab a bit of your strength and positive attitude in their own lives.  I find you to have a caring way about you. Concerned for others and how you can help them be better at being them.
