How to reach a goal easily?

This is a strategy I was taught in my NLP training and I use it often. Stand up for this and play around with it.

Imagine 2 circles on the floor and in your mind’s eye, make them different colors. Make the circles big enough for you to fit in. Label one circle – GOAL and label the other one – EXPECTATION.

Now step into the EXPECTATION circle and think about something you expect to do that day, or in a week or in a month. It could be that you expect to go to the dentist because you already have an appointment. It could be that you expect to go to a dinner this week because you already have made plans. Pick one expectation and fully immerse yourself in it. For example, if you know that you are going to dinner this week, imagine that you are getting dressed and getting into your car to go for the dinner. Imagine you are in the restaurant ordering your food and then eating it.

Once you have fully imagined it, step into the GOAL circle and use the same feelings of “expecting” your goal like you already have it and fully visualize and feel it. Use your 5 senses to enhance the experience and you will  realize how easy it is to reach your goal!
